E-Xplorer will hit the tracks again this weekend (Saturday 29th July) in Vollore-Montagne, Auvergne, Central France, for round three of the series and will be supported by Torrot in the ‘fan village’ of the event. Building on the success of Rounds One and Two in Spain and Switzerland.
The brand new all-electric, all terrain motorcycle FIM World Cup has been designed to showcase the excitement and technological development around electric motorcycle development and the relationship with Torrot as ‘Kids Bike of the Championship’ has perfect synergy with this messaging.
While the riders and teams in the E-Xplorer events will be entertaining the crowds and testing the electric bikes with exciting racing on a demanding course around the Auvergne volcano chain, the Torrot test and display area in the Fan Village will allow children and teenagers the chance to ride an electric bike and develop a relationship with the electric movement in the two-wheel world.
“We are delighted to welcome Torrot to the E-Xplorer family,” said Valentin Guyonnet, Founder and CEO E-Xplorer FIM World Cup. “This is a fast-growing business which shares the same values as our series - sustainability, equality and electric innovation within the motorcycle world - and will have an active display of its bikes in the Fan Village for our young spectators to test the range around a small track.”
Torrot, which has enjoyed steady growth over the recent years has a large collection of off road, all terrain electric motorcycles suitable for children and youths from three to 14. Torrot will use the opportunity with E-Xplorer to showcase its current models and provide test opportunities at E-Xplorer events.
“We are delighted with the opportunity to work with E-Xplorer,” said John Dixon, CEO of Torrot. “These events provide the perfect backdrop for our bikes and we will have an accessible and interactive display here in Vollore-Montagne. We believe in promoting gender equality and the sustainability message whilst showing our young customers that electric motorcycling is fun and exciting.”
About Torrot
In 2011 Torrot embarked on the adventure of designing technologically advanced electric vehicles which would ecologically fit within the world we live in today, with a brand that was extremely popular and famous in the past. The philosophy back then was, in essence, the same as Torrot’s today: to manufacture practical, comfortable, sturdy vehicles that make people’s daily lives more fun and easier in terms of mobility.
In the new Torrot everything revolves around these values and the maxim of caring for the world we live in with appealing designs, cutting edge technology and sustainable manufacturing.
