Ramirent unveiled as the title sponsor for the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup in Oslo

As of today, 2 May 2024, Ramirent has been unveiled as the title sponsor for the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup’s second round of the series, hosted in Oslo.

Ramirent is a leading service company offering equipment rental for construction and many other industries that will bring a wealth of expertise and resources to the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup.

The collaboration between the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup and Ramirent is already in motion. The track has been built exclusively using electric machinery supplied by Ramirent and the company has also provided the necessary green energy to successfully run the event infrastructure.

Carina Munte, FIM E-Xplorer World Cup CCO, said: “Joining forces with Ramirent aligns perfectly with our values and vision. This partnership represents a union of two dynamic brands dedicated to pushing the boundaries of sustainability. It’s been a pleasure working with them in Oslo and their commitment to assisting E-Xplorer is a testament to the brand.”

Frode Mathiassen, Ramirent Regional Manager, added: "At Ramirent, we are proud to take responsibility for society and the environment we operate in. We believe in making a positive difference, not only through our services, but also through our commitment to sustainability, social responsibility and ethical business practices.

Ramirent started its green journey a few years ago with an investment in emission-free machines. 98% of our new investments are in emission-free equipment! This is also the reason why Ramirent wanted to be a sponsor of an exciting and innovative emission-free event such as FIM E-Xplorer."

Occupying over 300 branches across 9 countries, Ramirent offers a wide range of support and risk protection services to millions, as well as 250,000 construction machines and equipment available for hire.

Placing sustainability and environmental impact at the forefront of every decision, Ramirent’s vision is to reduce the need for owning equipment by providing a service where sharing will reduce the environmental impact.

Ready to show off the outstanding capabilities of electric motorcycle racing to the Norwegian public, the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup matches Ramirent’s vision by providing exciting but sustainable motorsport.

The FIM E-Xplorer World Cup begins in Oslo today, with scheduled practice sessions before tomorrow's racing action, anticipation is building within the paddock to see who will come out on top in the Norwegian capital.
